Julie Black is the Owner and co-founder of Black Star Entertainment Group. Her focus is on event production and managing the background functions of the company, while she works on select projects; and with select artists, show and event producers.

A former booking agent with several major New York booking agencies, Julie spent years booking artists across many music genres: pop, rock, R&B, rap, reggae, club and house music; as well as DJs and comedians, in the U. S. and abroad. She has booked legendary artists such as Patti LaBelle, New Kids on the Block and LL Cool J. Today, she runs Black Star with partner David Peart, a veteran of management, booking and concert production.
